Our organization is committed to building a thriving economy. The workforce needed to power this economy is increasingly diverse, and we're not entirely ready. BDCC wants to ensure every employer can access expertise around diversity, equity and inclusion, regardless of company size or previous experience in this work. The nuwave team designed an approach that met our goals for the region, and delivered training thanks to support from the Vermont Community Foundation. The nuwave approach combines a deep and personal understanding of the importance of creating welcoming workplaces, delivered with the professionalism and "business case" that businesses understand. I walked away from the training with tangible, achievable steps we can take tomorrow, over the coming months and years, to keep making our workplaces and communities more welcoming.
