Vermont Foster Care Campaign

This campaign to encourage involvement in Vermont’s Foster Care system featured striking digital and video ads that conveyed the welcoming and inclusive tone the Vermont Department of Children and Families was seeking. Each of the 15-second video ads have gotten an average of 50k views on YouTube. Campaign Ads

Know OD Campaign

This two-phase, wide reaching, and visually stunning campaign was created by nuwave for the Vermont Dept of Health to raise awareness of the dangers of opioid use and ways to mitigate those dangers. In addition to the print collateral, the 15-second video and radio ads, were seen and heard on TV, Spotify, GasStationTV, and YouTube, where many of the videos garnered hundred of thousands of views. The Black Experience

The nuwave Agency team created the visual design and collateral materials for this tremendously successful event celebrating Black History Month. Over 1500 people were drawn to Burlington from across the state to witness culturally significant discussion, speeches and performances. Black Experience Website

Vermont Electric Co-op

The nuwave Agency team put together a few projects for the Vermont Electric Co-op, all highlighting the company’s work to provide reliable energy, while looking towards renewable solutions. VEC Ad

Weatherization

These two short ads sought to quickly and clearly attract both consumers AND workers to Vermont’s Weatherization service.
We wrote and designed these 15-second videos to pack in an abundance of information, while being visually eye-catching and engaging. Campaign Ads

VACTEA

The Vermont Adult Career and Technical Education Association sought to foster awareness of it’s post-secondary education and career resources using metaphor and playful imagery. VACTEA Website

 Out with the old. In with the nu.

After a 40-year career in marketing, including  24 years at the helm of Sp!ke Advertising, Ken Millman wanted to donate his company to an entrepreneurial-minded  member of Vermont’s Black community, as his way of doing something real to combat systemic racism.

As a rising star with Cox Automotive Canada, and as a result of the ongoing racial injustices that Black people face today. Emiliano Void felt the need to get involved in equity work. As founder and CEO of nuwave Equity Corporation, Emiliano and his team lead transformative diversity, equity, and inclusion work with programming for any organization with a desire for real change.

Ken and Emil were introduced to each other by a mutual colleague, and Emil was intrigued with Ken’s experimental model for transitioning Sp!ke to new (Black) ownership via a donation of stock shares, company assets, and perhaps most important, mentoring.

Today, Sp!ke Advertising is nuwave Agency (nwA), a division of nuwave Equity Corporation (nwEC). Owned by Emil, nwA takes a no-nonsense, process-driven approach to developing, executing, and managing marketing programs with an emphasis on people, innovation, and technology.
